Twilight the movie

okay, well i was just searching for series information about twillight, because there is meant to be another book after breaking dawn ( someone please tell me so i know there's more to read!), and after my searching i came across a website saying that there is going to be a movie! so as the sensible person i am, i went and found trailers. BUT, to my disapointment,the characters (except for bella, and emment) look nothing like what i was hoping for, in my overactive brain...
from the looks of the trailers, i get the feel that the director/producer, is making it look too much like, harry potter. now i am not a fan of harry potter, but i seem to think that the lead actor, playing edward, was in fact a person in harry potter, in the 4th flim, and he did those trail thingys...anyways, what are your opinions of this? do you hope ( i do ) that the flim lives up to the pleasure that the book has given us? do you think it is a completely bad idea, and that no amount of money, or flim crew, can make this flim as brilliant as the book?

I feel that the movie will be an epic fail. Just my opinion, I don't like Robert Pattinson as Edward at all . ANd yes he was in Harry Potter, played Cedric Diggory, the guy that DIED.

OH and Yes there is a book after Breaking Dawn sorta. It's going to be Midnight Sun, Edward's version of the first book of Twilight.

Glad you brought this up. I've been talking calmly with my friends about this. We all agree that the twilight Movie is not what we had anticipated. It is tiotally messed up. It's outta control. It's Horriable. The main charactors look nothing like the imaginations of us young ones. And Edward looks as ugly as mule's backside (no offense... sorry). He's nothing like Michelangelo's David (i think).

Yeah we were all dissapointed... but we got over it. I was just saying, why ruin your Edward and other's figure by watching the movie when there's a perfectly fine manga to look at. and let me tell you, the manga makes edward looks soooooo hawt. Yes, they made one.

i know what both of you mean, but, because i am reading the last book right now, i am always having the actors faces in my head...so those pictures would help alot yuki! i still think they are trying to make the flim like harry potter, but, hopefully i am wrong, and it will be the best flim in history...or i guess i could just view the flim, as nothing to do with the book...

wow i never thought i would say this, but, i really don't like those pictures! I KNOW I'M SHOCKED TOO!! i can actually say now seeing those pictures, that i have no problems with the actors for the movie...thanks yuki now i can see the flim!! but it doesn't come out at the cinema until the 1st january 2009...what a long wait...

No I think I read somewhere it got pushed up to some time in November, not really sure.

I personally cant wait for this movie to come out. I'm a fan to the books as well.

Its just so stupid that some people don't understand copyrights, though I have to say I'm very tempted to read it. But I will wait for the book Midnight Sun to be released first.

I think that good books are usually ruined by bad interpretation when it is put into movie. So many things have to be cut out so that the movie can run in it's allotted time.

ummm when I first saw this trailer of TWILIGHT I was a bit dissapointed.. like wahhhh... the descriptions of edward in twilight is like a GOD.. it was written there..oh well... lets just say my depiction of EDWARD CULLEN been ruined..and yes i hate BELLA SWAN whos always so selfish.. yer i dint like BREAKING DAWN too.. oh welp thanks to the author still!
