Well, since there was a "Favorite Anime" thread in the anime chat, I thought might as well add a "Favorite Manga" thread (since I prefer reading than watching).

Alright everyone, answer these questions!

1. Gakuen Alice and Vampire Knight
2. Tramps Like Us and Nana
3. Cutie Boy and Ares
4. Claymore, One Piece, and Hunter x Hunter
5. Vagabond and Gantz (even though there's a LOT of blood... it's really interesting though)

im just going to say the manga's i like in general

4. What is your favorite shonen manga? MPD Psycho, Samurai Deeper Kyo, and X/1999
5. What is your favorite seinen manga? Alive, Leviathan, Girlfriends, and Monster

4. Shonen manga? - Full Metal Alchemist

I also like Hikaru no go, Death Note, Bleach... some others that I'm not thinking of right now...
I feel a bit ignorant - What are josei and seinen manga?

They're manga for people 18+. Josei is more realistic than shoujo, and they almost always are not in school (they have a job or are in college), but it still revolves around romance.

Seinen is extreme shounen (again, 18+). It usually has more gore and maturity.

Eh eh, I don't know what category all the manga I read is in. Darn it.

1. Shoujo manga? Anything that Shinjo Mayu has came up with
2. Josei manga? Nodame Cantabile
3. Manhwa (Korean manga)? ID, The Breaker
4. Shonen manga? Full Metal Alchemist, rurouni kenshin, the list goes on etc etc...
5. Seinen manga? I really don't remember what titles are in this category.

I know there's some but I can't think of any atm.

I just kinda read whatever is interesting, plot-wise, and don't really worry about genres

1. My favorite shoujo manga ? seems to me i got a lot. But yes, my top on the list if ever is Kaichou wa Maid Sama.

2. For Josei manga would be Midnight Secretary!

3. Manhwa would be Spectacular Diary.

4. Boy's manga would be Rurounin Kenshin.....

5. Oh..for seinen that would be BLADE of IMMORTAL!

3) Snow drops, Bride of the water god, Click, Princess, WA!... I loved to read korean manhwa!! They are the best... Unfortunately, there are very few Scanlators groups that include korean manhwa...

5. Hmm I wonder when i read a seinen since i confuse seinen n shounen alot!

but to battle shoujo Akuma na eros tops it but there are alot of them I like.
I would almost write all the shoujo manga i read as 2nd place Since I just luv shoujo :-)

Manwha: Masca or Ingenuo
Seinen: Not sure if Until Death do Us Part qualifies...
Shounen: Saiyuki (a sucker for the old favorites)

I really couldn't tell you my favorites in any of the other categories but my favorites in the Shoujo category are Tokyo Crazy Paradise, Kaikan Phrase, Hana Kimi, Goskusen and Ouran High School Host Club.

the anime and the manga arent much different,but are quite different i guess XD (i got low memory cells) and the anime ended at the firework scene :( was very sad...
