I have a phpbb forum too, so I just hope it's the same ACP as mine. There is one way of doing it, but it will only affect new posts, not older ones + this will not increase posts on the whole Games Forum.
ACP => Permissions (tab) => Group's forum permissions => Choose Registered users => Choose the relevant forums in which to disable post count (paint with mouse) => Choose advanced permissions => Choose "Misc" => Check in "Never" at "Can increase post count" => Press "submit" for all permissions.
Another way is to install a mod.

If it's a hassle, just delete this thread. | |

| 38 --- The forum is a phpbb. It's just hosted on a .uk site. I'm hoping it have the same ACP as mine, since I'm going off of that. What I listed was bunched up, but it's suppose to be steps. Kind of like the => means the next step. (example, go to ACP then go to Permission Tabs, then go to Group's Forum Permission, etc...) No worries, I just wanted to see if I can help out.  | |
